This past weekend my friend and his roommates, “The Lafayette Household”, threw a live jazz house party where donations were asked for in the name of my future insulin pump. The band was great, Vajra Blue, http://www.VajraBlue.com. The conversations were fun. I had a great time making new friends and seeing old friends again.

Thank you goes out to each and every person who came to the celebration and made a donation. I can not express how deep in my heart I hold a spot for people to offer help. I think everyone that night was hoping to make a difference in someone’s life who needed a little helping hand (just happened to be mine this time).

I am sad to announce that not enough money was brought in to cover the cost of the band and other party expenses. So no donation to my insulin pump was possible. But still, thank you for the effort. I greatly appreciate the thought and attempt.
