Something that I am soooo glad I took with me was my pillow and a blanket. Just those little touches of home that made my stay a little more tolerable.
I would die without my laptop! So happy that the hospital had wireless internet. A lot of websites were blocked and I couldn't get into a chat or IM program, but I could still email. That was enough to help me get by!

Jesse - Good to hear that you are feeling better! :D

Hey, fellow IV'er!

I hope you bounce back as fast as I did. I'm on my 6th day and feeling darn near 100%. Better than I remember, once again.

My wife said you posted a question on the forums about what to bring to the hospital. Here's my usual list:

Pajama pants, sweats, t-shirts, boxers, socks (getting a pattern going here), paperbacks, crosswords, laptop, all of my oral meds, bathroom kit, fruit Newtons, and Sour Patch Kids.
