Courtney and Josh - Doc did suggest trying some drugs in the future, but first we want to see if the cheapo cream does the job first. I love that my docs keep $$ in mind when prescribing things. We will try the cheep stuff first and if it doesn't work, then we move on to more expensive treatments.
She did mentions some sort of anti-depressant that could possibly help, I thought it started with a "C". I think it is also used for "restless leg syndrome" (which I know nothing about).

Funny about dogs, part of me was hoping Brodie would not like the cream and it would break him from his lotion licking habit. He is addicted I swear!

I hope the cream does the job, and for Brodie's sake I hope dogs don't sense the "heat". I've been on Nuerontin for years, it works great but causes drowsiness. They give me a low dose of Desiprimine, an anti depressant, with it to enhance the effects. Lyrica is another option, it is a newer drug on the market.

Hey I was just diagnosed with neuropathy in my feet. I now take neurotin i think its called, 3x a day. I never tried any of the lotions, but a podiatrist dx'ed the neuropathy and he didn't even suggest it. Anyway good luck with your feet. I totally feel your pain!
