I think this will be very helpful for those who suspect they may have diabetes. I stole it from my Continuous Glucose Monitor class:
Target values from the American Diabetes Association (ADA)/American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE)
Fasting/before-meal glucose: 90 mg/dL to 130 mg/dL (5.0 mmol/L to 7.2 mmol/L) (ADA);
<110 mg/dL (6.1 mmol/L) [...]

What a load of $#!t!

Remembering diabetes

I am finding the hardest part of diabetes is ‘remembering’.
I have to remember to check my blood glucose levels:
when I wake up
before every meal
two hours after every meal
before bed
sometimes before driving
sometimes before/after snacks
sometimes at 3 am to make sure I am not sinking into oblivion
every time I turn around
